Expected Delivery Timeframes
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days from our warehouse, however please allow for up to 12 working days as sometimes stock is not available in our warehouse and needs to be transferred from one of our stores. Estimated delivery timeframes are for items listed as ‘in stock’ at time of purchase only.
Small Homewares Transit Times (from dispatch)
Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro: 3-5 business days
Regional NSW, VIC, QLD and ACT: 5-10 business days
Country NSW, VIC, QLD and SA: 5-10 business days
TAS, WA, NT and Far North QLD: 5-10 business days
Larger Items and Furniture (from dispatch)
Sydney Metro, Southern Highlands and South Coast: Same day

It is important to note that some of our local couriers are facing delivery delays due to increased online ordering. Unfortunately some matters are out of our hands, but please know we work very closely with our valued delivery network monitoring shipments to ensure we can best expedite delivery to our clients. Please allocate up to 14 business days from dispatch for delivery via our freight partners. NOTE: All transit times listed above are a guide only and are not guaranteed.
Domestic Shipping (Australia Wide)
Items will be sent to the shipping address you provide when placing your order. A physical street address for delivery must be provided. We are only able to deliver to one address per order. If you would like to send your purchases to multiple addresses, we suggest that you place a separate order for each destination.
Although Few and Far does its utmost to provide you with a fast delivery service, please be aware that your location and order size will also impact on the speed of delivery. While the company strives to provide you with the best customer service by providing the best delivery update, we are not responsible for any delivery delays caused by a third party courier company.
International Shipping
We are unable to offer international shipping at this time.
Delivery Charges
Our shipping rates are dependent on the physical weight of the items in your purchase order. We offer a freight calculator at checkout, however if you would like to arrange a quote please email us at enquiries@fewandfar.com.au. Our delivery fees will be displayed at the checkout prior to payment and order completion. Please review these before you confirm your order.
Standard Delivery
Our standard delivery service is used for smaller furniture items and non-fragile items. Our couriers deliver direct to your door but not inside your home, and you will need to assist the driver and receive your parcels.
Furniture/Bulky Goods Delivery
Few and Far endeavours to provide to its customers the best delivery service. We usually estimate all delivery costs based on ground floor/front door basis, unless stated otherwise. In addition to this, Few and Far can offer a premium service which includes delivery into door, up to two flight of stairs or apartments with lifts with two men job available in selected areas only and at an additional cost.
All deliveries take place during normal business hours Monday to Friday between 10am to 5pm. As some deliveries might involve valuable goods, our couriers are entitled to produce a proof of delivery. Usually, our freight deliveries require a signature upon delivery to acknowledge that the items have been received in a reasonable order.
If you will not be at home to accept delivery, our team can either deliver your purchase to a neighbour or to you at your office. You could also be comfortable in such a case to have your order left at your front door, however note that, whilst this option is available to facilitate and accommodate you with delivery, we take no responsibility for missing goods.
Authority To Leave
If an authority to leave is provided as part of your order confirmation process, your order will be left in a safe, undercover area at your address. If the area is not deemed to be safe, the driver can use their discretion to not leave the parcel. Please note that, whilst this option is available to facilitate and accommodate you with delivery, we take no responsibility for missing goods.
If you have not provided an authority to leave, our shipping partner will leave a notice at your home to advise they attempted delivery, it will contain information on how to contact them to organise an alternative delivery arrangement and the items will be returned to their nearest depot.
If your order is held by the courier for an extended period of time following an attempted delivery, or is returned to our warehouse undelivered and needs to be resent, additional charges for storage fees and associated shipping costs may be applied.
Australia Post
For Australia Post deliveries, the driver will leave a note for you to collect from your local post office if you were not home at the time of delivery. If the parcel has not been collected within 10 business days, it will be returned to our warehouse.
Note: for residential deliveries being made by Australia Post, they can occur as early as 7am. For business addresses, the delivery will be made during standard business hours, 9am to 5pm AEST.

In the unlikely event that you are unable to collect your items from the post office or depot, it is best to provide the details of the person with an authority to collect letter. The person will need to bring their photo ID and your tracking number when collecting the parcel.
Pre-Order Items
We will ship any out-of-stock items you may have ordered as soon as they are back in stock. The “stock status” or "pre-order" date indicated online at your time of purchase should be used as a guide only and may be subject to change. In the event of an extended delay, we will notify you by email.
Click & Collect
Our stores offer Click & Collect in-store pick-up options. To find out whether an item is eligible for you to collect at a store, check the product’s information page on our website. After you choose the item’s colour and/or size, you’ll be able to select a store for Click & Collect if the item is available. No delivery charges apply.
