There’s no better feeling than spoiling house guests and giving them a weekend to remember. When they’re happy, you’re happy and it doesn’t have to be stressful. With a bit of planning and preparation, getting ready
for your guests arrival can actually be quite fun.
Here are 4 creative tips and tricks to surprise your guests with and to offer them a stay they won't forget!
1. Beautiful Bed
Nothing says 'welcome' like a big comfortable bed with crisp clean linen.
Make it extra special with colourful
cushions, a quilted coverlet to show off and extra
blankets or throws on hand.
Be sure to fold some soft towels and wash cloths on the bed so they can freshen up at their convenience.
TIP: Try our room or linen mists for a clean fresh fragrance that your guest will most certainly appreciate!
2. Tray of treats
TIP: Artfully arrange in a little tray, and place on their bed. It always adds a special touch.
3. Downtime delights
You can’t constantly host 24/7 and nor would you want to, so make sure you stock up the bedside table with things for them to do.
Books, magazines, wifi password, a beautiful smelling
candle will definitely keep them occupied in their downtime.
TIP: Our Be Happy book is the perfect quick read. It’s filled with beautiful insights and lovely words of advice to living a happy life.
4. Sleepyhead
Help your guests unwind and relax with a soothing cup of Good Night tea along with some tasty biscuits. It’s always a good idea to keep the fridge and cupboards stocked with snacks and nibbles. Make sure you let them know to help themselves and make them feel right at home.
TIP: There are lots of wonderful sleeping products that you can leave out for them... Like our IKOU Sleepyhead roll on, filled with relaxing essentials oils and our Sleep Mist by The Good Night Co. They'll be guaranteed the best sleep ever!
