Again, we are thrilled about being featured in House & Garden. In this issue, they have featured one of our much loved antique Chinese floral cabinets. There is such a wonderful story behind these beauties. They bring life to a room, like a piece of art! So much work goes into the restoration of these pieces. They are originally crimson red in colour. To reinvent the piece and bring new life, most of the red paint is removed and replaced with a white or pastel paint colour, and the original flowers are left untouched. There are so many layers built into a piece of Antique Chinese furniture, layers of paint, processes, and most interesting, stories and history.
